THE NATURAL RESERVE
St. Martin’s natural reserve is an environmental body which protects the Northern Islands’ natural treasures. Hosting numerous species of fish and plants, the reserve offers marvellous snorkelling, diving, and hiking sites.
Like a treasure in the middle of the Caribbean Sea, St. Martin belongs to the Northern Islands of the French West Indies and is on its way to become a French overseas community and to establish a little more of its own identity.  Not very famous in Metropolitan France, and often eclipsed by the Guadeloupe and Martinique islands, St. Martin is more of a hot spot for North and South American tourists and has become an major stopover for cruises and yachts.
WATER SPORTS
For sports fans, various water sports such as windsurfing, jet-skiing, wakeboarding, and kite surfing are great for both kids and adults at Orient Bay.
THE BEACHES
Both sides of the islands offer beautiful beaches, each beach offering its own unique setting. White sand, sun, palm trees are the key elements of these places giving them their marvellous and heavenly Caribbean touch! Sometimes wild and even only accessible by foot or by boat, certain beaches are ideal for people looking for intimacy and quiet. For those who prefer welcoming and animated places, bars and restaurants are welcoming and abundant in Friar's Bay, Anse Marcel, Pinel, and Orient Bay. Barbecue meals, local specialties, as well as typical house-made cocktails are served to your lounge chairs as you bask in the sun on the beach.
